Chassis

• EXTRAORDINARILY LIGHTWEIGHT AND AGILE: The Aprilia Tuono 457 is the only bike in its segment to boast an aluminium frame, a choice that ensures dynamic excellence. Designed using Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) advanced technology and extensively road tested, the frame helps the bike achieve a dry weight of just 159 kg, setting a record power-to-weight ratio. The suspension package is also high level, with the preload adjustable on both the 41-mm fork and rear shock absorber, which operates on the asymmetrical steel swingarm. All in all, the perfect formula for a rigorous yet highly responsive riding experience.

Design

• A DECLARATION OF PERSONALITY: The Aprilia Tuono 457 makes a design statement with its compact, essential lines that capture the sporting soul of a true Naked. The triple full-LED headlight cluster reproduces Aprilia's iconic style, while the small spoiler pays homage to the legendary Tuono 1000 R. Every detail is the result of functional, sports-oriented design, with the fuel tank’s excellent ergonomics combining with the wide handlebar and low seat, tapered at the sides, to deliver a riding experience that is comfortable but always dynamic.

Features

• The Aprilia Tuono 457 comes with a state-of-the-art 5” TFT colour instrument panel with a clear, intuitive interface. The handlebars, backlit to ensure optimal visibility even in poor light, make it a breeze to access the bike’s various functions. Ride by Wire technology includes three Ride Modes (Eco, Sport and Rain) which adjust engine output and traction control in line with actual conditions to optimise your riding experience.
• FULL-LED LIGHTING: The lighting units use full-LED technology for excellent visibility and an unmistakable illuminated profile. The completely front unit is a compact and essential headlight cluster typical of a true Naked, innovatively reinterpreting the iconic triple-headlight design characteristic of all Aprilia models and including a small lower spoiler. The Aprilia Tuono 457, as a true nonconformist, is the only Tuono without a front headlight fairing attached to the frame.
• ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION: The 41-mm fork with 120 mm of travel is preload adjustable. The rear shock, which operates on the asymmetrical steel swingarm, is also preload adjustable and offers 130 mm of travel, ensuring optimal adaptability to various riding conditions, even with a passenger.
• WHEEL RIMS: The Aprilia Tuono 457’s 17” wheel rims accommodate tyres measuring 110/70 up front and 150/60 at the rear for a combination that delivers unrivalled handling and showcases the renowned precision and solidity of an Aprilia chassis.
• BRAKES: Equipped with ByBre callipers acting on 320-mm steel discs at the front and 220-mm at the rear, the Aprilia Tuono 457 ensures an immediate and consistent brake response, courtesy of the front radial-mount calliper and the Bosch dual-channel ABS. The latter features a dual-mode setup, allowing the rider to choose whether to activate assistance on both wheels or just the front one.

Its record-breaking performance for a front-parallel twin of this displacement is made even more intuitive by premium electronic features, including a Ride-by-Wire system with three Riding Modes (ECO, SPORT, and RAIN). This optimizes power delivery, torque, and traction control, and can be adjusted across three levels even while you’re riding.

The most unconventional and irreverent Tuono ever, it is the only one in the family without a semi-fairing attached to the frame, a choice that makes it even lighter and more agile.
